Odds and Ends
This page is a little bit of everything: scattered iPhoto pictures that were taken at all sorts of places . . . places, perhaps, that I didn't have my "big camera" in hand. It was always easier, for example, to get a picture at a tavern, diner, or restaurant with my phone. The "big camera" often makes people a little nervous . . . especially in tight places. And sometimes I just got tired of carrying the monster (it weighs 4 lbs).
The large pictures at left, and immediately below, were taken at a tavern in the village of Waldo, Ohio, famous for its fried bologna sandwich. We were lucky to get a seat. And, yes, I ordered my first . . . there may not be a second!
The pictures are fairly chronological, starting in Toledo (Lourdes College), Cincinnati, Bowling Green, KY, Montgomery, AL, Chattanooga, TN, Waldo, OH, Buc-ee's on the freeway, Dennis and I at Debbie and Jerry's, eating frog legs, and a beautiful sunset on their farm. "the Peaceable Kingdom."
It was a great trip!
